Essex Chronicle

''The Essex Chronicle'', published in Westway, Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom, is a general news, weekly paper founded in 1764 and now owned by Local World, who acquired previous owner Northcliffe Media from Daily Mail and General Trust in 2012.〔(Daily Mail sells regional newspapers to Local World ) BBC News, 21 November 2012〕 The ''Essex Chronicle'' has 94,590 readers per week.
The paper began in 1764 and made news in 2002 when operations moved from the original press location of Chelmsford to the West Country. ''Chronicle'' editor Stuart Rawlins cited outdated press equipment as the impetus for the move.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Hold the Front Page )
